Grin + Glow cosmetic treatment - What and how
Wrinkle-reducing treatment: Following a consultation, we can administer wrinkle-reducing modulators into targeted muscles. This product stops the signal between the nerve endings and muscle fibres. Ultimately, this stops the muscle from contracting, relaxes it, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles. The procedure is relatively painless, with only minimal discomfort reported by most patients. The process is relatively quick.
Volume replacement filler treatment (lips): Following a consultation, treatment can be carried out. At the start of the treatment, we apply a numbing product. Once the numbness has taken effect, a lip-volumising product is administered into various sites of your lips. The lip-volumising product attracts and retains water, resulting in a plumping effect – giving fullness, definition and improving the shape and balance of your lips. At the end of the procedure, the lips may be gently massaged to even out any irregularities. A soothing, healing lip ointment is also applied. Some swelling is expected after this treatment but should settle within a few days.
Wrinkle-reducing services: How long will the treatment last?
Gradual Improvement: You may start seeing changes after 2 days. The full effect is evident in about 10 to 14 days. If you have a special event, we recommend a treatment about 1 month prior.
Tweaks and dosage adjustments: More product can be administered after 2 weeks if more softening is needed. We prefer to start ‘light’ and aim for a subtle change until we understand how you personally respond to treatment (note: tweaks and dosage adjustments may incur an additional cost based on the amount of product used and you will be advised of the cost if required).
Lasting Effects: The results last for several months: 3-6 months, depending on the individual.

Volume- Replacement Product: What can I expect and how long will it last?
Instant results: You will have plumper, more voluminous lips straight away. There will be swelling after the procedure, which will reduce over the next few days. Your final result will be visible after 7 to 10 days when the swelling has gone down.
Tweaks and product adjustments: We will review your results after 14 days. If you wish to add more volume or definition, we can add more product (please note: this may incur an additional cost based on the amount of product used)
Lasting effects: The volumising effects will last from 6 to 20 months. This will depend on how your body metabolises and breaks down the product, lifestyle factors, and formulation.
Discreet results: We aim to give discreet, subtle, natural-looking, and enhanced results. We prefer a step-by-step approach to achieve this, often requiring an additional visit.

How can cosmetic treatments help you feel and look great?
Generally, our wrinkle-reducing treatment soften facial wrinkles while maintaining some natural movement. For lip- volumising treatments, we also aim for discreet and subtle enhancements. We want to highlight your natural beauty and turn back the clock without making you look “frozen,” “plastic,” or “done.”
Our functional treatments that help to address issues relating to teeth grinding (bruxism) and clenching will help relieve symptoms relating to these conditions. You may notice some facial slimming with the functional treatment and this is as a result of the shrinking of the masseter muscle in the face.

The muscles being treated (frontalis, glabella, masseter, and temporalis) are associated with tension headaches. We recommend that you get a professional opinion from a registered medical practitioner if seeking treatment for headaches and migraines.
Do I need a review appointment and what happens at this appointment
A review appointment can be scheduled 2 to 4 weeks after treatment. At the review appointment we assess the results and make sure everything is progressing as expected. Depending on the treatment area and the individual, results can vary. You may require additional product to achieve the desired result and this will incur a cost that you will be advised of.
Note that if you are happy with the results after treatment, a review and additional product is not required.
Results will gradually wear off after 3 to 6 months. Retreatment at this point is required to maintain results.
